Requirements and Coverage

1.  Conduct a minimum of 20 hours during your membership year. The recommended length of therapy is 1 to 2 hours per organization visit.

2. Log all volunteer hours in Track it Forward.

3. Keep dog well groomed with no matts or odor during visits.

4. Keep dog up-to-date on all shots.

5. A professional and courteous manner during visits and keep dog under control.

6. Pay annal membership of $45

7. Update TCP on any changes to your contact info

8. Review TCP's current membership guide as a refresher prior to renewal.

9. Failure to pay the renewal fee within 30 days after renewal expiration date can require minimum of retesting and/or attending new member orientation. (It is your responsibility as a member to keep track of your renewal date.)

TCP reserves the right to terminate at anytime the membership  

of any team that has failed with these guidelines.  

TCP vest and ID badges must be worn at all time during TCP visits. Some other organizations require that you where their ID badges also. So at times you and your dog might be wearing 2 badges.

On special occasions costumes may be worn with vests. ID badges must always be worn.

Wearing vest and ID badges outside of TCP visits/events is prohibited!!!
